Top 5 Air Travel Apps Performance in Bulgaria for Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five air travel apps in Bulgaria showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Wizz Air - Book Flights experienced a fluctuating download rate, peaking at approximately 1.9K downloads in mid-October and ending the quarter with around 1.8K downloads in the last week of December. The app saw a similar pattern in active users, starting at 6.8K at the beginning of the quarter and reaching 7.2K by the end.

Ryanair maintained a relatively steady download rate throughout Q4, with a slight drop from 1.4K in late September to around 1.1K in mid-December, before a small increase to 1.2K in the final week. Active users for Ryanair also showed minor fluctuations, starting at approximately 5.5K and ending the quarter with about 5.1K.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker demonstrated notable spikes in both downloads and active users. Downloads surged to around 2.4K in mid-December, while active users peaked at 7.9K during the same period, ending the quarter with 7.1K active users. Weekly revenue for Flightradar24 varied, reaching a high of nearly $309 in late November.

eSky - Flights, Hotels & Deals showed an increase in downloads, peaking at 1.4K in late November. The number of active users followed a similar trend, rising from 1.5K in late September to approximately 2.3K in late November, before dropping to 1.8K by the end of December.

Lufthansa had a steady but lower download rate compared to other apps, with figures hovering around 300 to 400 downloads per week. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, fluctuating slightly around the 1.5K mark.
